snarry100 challenge 186 – Sleeping arrangements
“Severus!” Harry shouted from the bedroom.
“What is it now brat?” Severus answered as he swept into the room.
“Where exactly are we supposed to sleep?” Harry asked, hands on hips looking towards the bed. The bed with a sleeping cat and her four kittens currently ensconced on it.
Severus looked at Albus, ‘well he’d thought she was male to begin with, and she was aptly named as her yellow eyes did that twinkling thing,’ and the kittens and back to Harry.
“It would not be a good idea to move her just yet,” Severus told Harry, lifting up his right sleeve to show Harry the lovely scratch Albus had given him earlier that morning. “I suggest we transfigure the couch for the time being and sleep downstairs.”
“No!” Harry stated quite firmly. “I’m not starting our life together on the couch. Albus must learn who’s the boss here.”
That said, Harry approached the bed with the sleeping family. But before he could get near any of them, Albus’ paw shot out delivering a deep scratch to Harry’s hand.
Turning back to Severus, Harry sighed. “Perhaps you’re right, a few nights on the couch won’t make a lot of difference.”
