I did the most stupidest thing this morning. But before we get to that let me tell you the background story.

Monday the new chap Josh was asking me about the intruder alarm and he thought the code was xyxy instead its xyyx.

Now this is where I did the stupid thing. I'm usually the first one into work, but yesterday I didn't happen to be the first one in and so I didn't unset the alarm as I was at the Doctors, so I come in this morning and now all I can think of is xyxy, which is so obviously the wrong number. After trying 2 different combinations I start to panic, LOL. At which point I phone the alarm company. A very nice man phones me back after I eventually get my boss out of bed to give me the right code *sniggers* and I reset the system. Now this all happened around 7.20am, at 7.55am the police turn up, *way to go on promptness there guys* ;) if there had been an intruder he could have made off with nearly everything by then. As I am typing this they obviously didn't take me away, but do I feel stupid now.

EDIT: OK now the key holder security company have turned up, I don't think my day could get any worse. I'm so pleased this is my last day until next Tuesday.

Anyway the moral of this story, is do not listen to the new guy, you know perfectly well what the code is so never trust the new guy :)

Thank you reading this, I'm now going to crawl back into my hole and die of shame.
